Symptom

When creating a quantity label for Fixed Asset Master Data (FAA_ASSET_MASTER_DATA) Business Context in the custom field app, the message "Name YY1_quantity is not valid. It conflicts with a fieldname that is already used" popped up.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

Fieldname already exists or SAP has already delivered.

Resolution

Changing the identifier is different from those that already exist or have been delivered by SAP.
