Symptom
- During the migration of employee data from ERP / S4 to SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC), the handling of primary and secondary assignments does not align with the data in ERP. The standard integration for migrating data from SAP ERP HCM to SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) always creates the employment relationship with the earliest start date as the primary employment.
- The primary employment in SuccessFactors EC does not always match the primary employment in ERP, leading to data inconsistency.
- The 'isPrimary' flag in the 'SecondaryAssignmentItem' entity is not being correctly set during migration.
