3591290 - Storage type &1: No putaway - max. storage type qty exceeded (current:&2) - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Below error message occurs when creating putaway task for inbound delivery. The destination storage type is fixed bin storage type.

Message no. /SCWM/PUT_BIN_DET071

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to APP Change Inbound Deliveries and find the inbound delivery.
2. Go to detail page. Click "Create Task".
3. Error message occurs.

Improper customizing.

There are two customizings influence the system behavior.

1. Customizing "Maintain Storage Types", checkbox "Check Max. Quantity" or customizing "Define Storage Type Groups" checkbox "Max. Qty" if the storage type is assigned to a storage type group.
2. APP Manage Product Master Data -> Warehouse Management -> Storage Types, field "Maximum Quantity".

If "Check Max. Quantity" is set for checking, "Maximum Quantity" cannot be set as zero. The existing quantity at the fixed bins + to be putaway quantity is expected to be less than the maximum quantity.
