Symptom

  • When attempting to create an Intelligent Scenario in SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud, an authorization error is encountered.

  • Cannot change the prefix of scenario name to YY1, not editable

Environment

  • Intelligent Scenario Lifecycle Management
  • SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud
  2. Open Intelligent Scenario Management app
  3. Create a new Embedded scenario
  4. Provide a name for the scenario
  5. Add a new model with training and test data
  6. Click save

Resolution

The creation of Intelligent Scenario (OR in general any logical object) is allowed only in systems in which ATO is configured, and the system is extensibility enabled. In such systems, the ATO prefix will be "YY1_".

The other prefixes "YY2_", "YY3_" and "YY9_" are not valid for creation of intelligent scenario (AND any other logical object).

Please use a valid system.
The intelligent scenario should be created in extensibility enabled development system, and transported to production system.
