3591496 - Error "InternalError" when syncing upcoming absences to calendar in Microsoft Teams with SAP SuccessFactors

• Enabled MS Teams integration with SAP SuccessFactors .
• Attempted to use quick action for time off, specifically to sync upcoming absences to calendar or sync holidays to calendar.
• Encountered error message: {"error":{"code":"InternalError","message":"Internal error"}}.
• Despite the error message, the holidays/absences were successfully synced to the Teams calendar.

1. Navigate to the SuccessFactors application in Microsoft Teams.
2. Select the Home tab.
3. Click on the Sync Absence to Calendar quick action card.
4. System attempts to load for a while then displays error message: {"error":{"code":"InternalError","message":"Internal error"}}.
5. Despite the error message, absences are successfully synced to the calendar.

The Engineering team confirmed that this is an known issue whose fix will be provided in 2505 release.

The deployment time is 8th of April 2025 in Preview instances, and 15th of May 2025 in Production instances.. There’s no workaround unfortunately, but it happens only once for every user.
