Symptom

Is it possible to hide or remove the email address of Recommended Person in the "Know Your Key People" task?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1.  Log in as the candidate.
  2. Access "Your Onboarding Guide."
  3. Click on "Know Your Key People."
  4. Notice that the email address of Recommended Person is visible.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to the Admin Center.
  2. Select Manage permission roles.
  3. For the roles External User and Service User, remove the following permissions related to email information:
    • Employee Data > HR Information > Email Information
    • Employee Data > HR Information > Business Email Address
    • Employee Data > Employee Profile > Email (This is not available to the External User role)
