Requirements for granting view rights to a non-admin user for the Manage Business Configuration Tool

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central 

1. Assign permissions as per KBA 2615255 - How to secure Manage Business Configuration objects.
2. The user attempts to search for the tool "Manage Business Configuration" in global search.
3. The tool is not reflecting.

For View Access, it is not enough to grant the view right to Manage Business Configuration objects. Additional permissions are also needed. 

Assign the following permissions for the user: 

• in Manage Business Configuration > Grant View rights to the objects
• In Metadata Framework > Grant Access to Manage Data and Configure Object Definitions 

User will have access to Manage Business Configuration Tool without Edit right.
