3591712 - "Career Site Email Notification" OR "One-Time Password for External Candidate Account Creation" are not sending for candidate profiles created through Odata API - Recruiting Management.

The triggers, "Career Site Email Notification" OR "One-Time Password for External Candidate Account Creation" do not send emails for the candidate profiles created via Odata API.

This is an expected behavior, both "Career Site Email Notification" and "One-Time Password for External Candidate Account Creation" are only sent to candidates that are created via the UI on the external career site. If a candidate profile is created via Odata API, these emails are not sent to those candidates.

If you have specific use case where this functionality is needed, please consider creating an enhancement request  and this could be taken into future consideration by our Product Management team given there is sufficient demand from other customers.

If the both triggers are disabled, candidate profiles created via OData API are created immediately without the need to verify the email address.

As workaround, please consider manually sending emails to candidates who are created via OData API or during the application process, please consider using "invite to apply" email notification or a status triggered email.
