3591897 - E-Verify Case Submission Error due to Invalid Value - Onboarding

• E-Verify Admins are unable to complete/submit E-Verify cases to several candidates.
• Error Messages:
  • Error Middle_initial: Invalid value for "middle_initial", must conform to the pattern /^[a-zA-Z]*$/. occurs when attempting to submit the E-Verify case. 
  • E-Verify encountered data errors. Please contact Product Support with the following error details: other_last_names_used: Invalid value for "other_last_names_used", must conform to the pattern /^[a-zA-Z'’\- ]*$/.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Attempt to submit an E-Verify case for an employee.

2. An error message appears: middle_initial: Invalid value for "middle_initial", must conform to the pattern /^[a-zA-Z]$/* or E-Verify encountered data errors. Please contact Product Support with the following error details: other_last_names_used: Invalid value for "other_last_names_used", must conform to the pattern /^[a-zA-Z'’\- ]*$/.

• The issue arises due to the absence of a middle name in the E-Verify case submission or an unsupported character used in one of the Everify fields.

1. Navigate to Manage data > E-Verify.
2. Update the correct value of the affected field for the affected employee.
3. Perform an OData Refresh.
4. Submit the E-verify.
