3592040 - Shell Bar missing in Latest People Profile if Live Profile Access RBP has not been granted

Symptom

Shell bar is missing when user does not have Live Profile access RBP and navigating to People Profile page with route.
When user does not have Live Profile Access RBP, the module picker does not have Employee Files, as expected. However, user can be searched in the Global Search and by selecting the user, user navigates to Employee files. When this happens, the Shell bar is missing in the error page and user does not have option to go back to home page.
User has Live Profile Access RBP but does not Search Permission. In this scenario, the user will get error page when selecting Employee Files from Module picker and the user does not have option to go back to any other pages as Shell bar missing.

Reproducing the Issue

Log in to SF instance and proxy as user without 'Live Profile Access' RBP.
Go to another user's profile (or view my profile).
Observe that Shell Bar is missing when navigating to Full Profile.
The same is observed when the user does have Live Profile Access RBP but does not have Search RBP.

Cause

SAP Engineering team have identified this as a known issue.

Resolution

SAP Engineering team are working on a fix to be tentatively released in the H2 2025 release.
Workaround: Grant affected users' the missing permission(s).
