• Discard option is disabled for a customizing-type transport request in the test system.
• The transport request contains items of type 'Semantic Business Configuration Lock Token'. 
• Even with import statuses like 'Ready for Import', 'Automation Import Validation Failed', or 'Partially Imported', the request cannot be discarded for customizing-type transport request.
• Key user extensibility and CBC collection versions can’t be discarded.

It's expected behavior, 

• For Key user extensibility and CBC collection versions can’t be discarded.
• For Customizing-type transport requests that contain items of type 'Semantic Business Configuration Lock Token', the discard option is not supported as collections with these specific item types cannot be discarded.

If certain items are not required in the test system, the only option is to undo the item changes in the development system and transport those undone changes with another collection version into the test system.
