Symptom

  • The DSI Connection fails to start with the following error message present in errorlog:
          ERROR #21 DSI(225 SRV_NAME.DB_NAME) - eneric/dsi/dsithrd.c(3363)
            Open server call to routine 'srv_spawn' failed.

  • This issue may occur when starting the Replication Server on multiple DSI connections.
