Symptom

  • Installing ASE 16.1 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.x
  • Installing SRS 16.1 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.x
  • Installing IQ16.2 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.x
  • Getting the following error when running setup.bin:

java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /home/sybase/<ServerName>/<EBF>/archives/sylapi/libsylapij.so: libnsl.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
    at java.lang.ClassLoader$NativeLibrary.load(Native Method)
