3592434 - Error "Remove the contract account, because payer &1 is inactive for FI-CA" occurring when adding a contract account in a solution order - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When adding a contract account to a solution order, the error displays: "Remove the contract account, because payer &1 is inactive for FI-CA".

To use the contract account in a solution order, FICA needs to be activated in both the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and the Subscription Billing system. In the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, it is configured on business partners. In the Subscription Billing system, it is configured on the product subscription profile. 

To use the contract account, the "Accounting Group" for the business partner should be set as FICA to enable it in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
