3592611 - Authentication Issues with SAP CPQ and SAP Variant Configuration and Pricing

Symptom

  • An issue was encountered while testing the CPS credentials in CPQ.
  • The error messages received were "Authentication settings for Configuration Service are incorrect" and "Authentication settings for Pricing Service are incorrect".

Environment

SAP Sales Cloud CPQ

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Setup.
  2. Navigate to Providers.
  3. Select SAP Integrations.
  4. Choose SAP Variant Configuration and Pricing.
  5. Open the Authentication settings tab.
  6. Click on Test authentication settings.

Cause

This issue occurs due to incorrect authentication settings.

Resolution

Verify the provided Authentication URL under the Authentication settings tab.
It should end with /oauth/token as per the help documentation.
