3592924 - DQM Service Address Validation issue when adding address information into separate fields

Address Validation error when entering Apt/Unit field value. Field Apt/Unit being added to the first address line after validation.

1. Go to Employee Profile
2. Address Information
3. History
4. Insert New Record
5. Clear the existing Apt/Unit # (address2 field)
6. Click on Validate Address
7. Validation Response appears
8. Continue
9. The Apt Number is getting added to the address line instead of Apt/Unit# field.

1. Go to Employee Profile
2. Address Information
3. Edit
4. Enter new Address (address1 field) and Apt/Unit # (address2 field)
5. Click on Validate Address
6. Validation Response appears
7. Continue
8. The Apt Number is getting added to the address line instead of Apt/Unit# field.

When a delivery address consists of an exterior portion and an interior portion, the Street Address (std_addr_prim_address) property contains the exterior portion (usually the street address) and the Secondary Address (std_addr_sec_address) property contains the interior portion (the secondary part that usually represents a floor number, unit number, stairwell name, or wing name).

For example, the following illustrates how the address “100 Main St Apt 201” is split.

Country USA uses the default template for Address Validation. However, if a customer wishes to customize the output value, they must update the configuration as follows: 

1. In DQM - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central > Standard Configuration
2. Map Street Address with address1 and
3. Secondary Address with address2.

Subsequently, the customer will receive the required values:
