3593209 - Insufficient environment settings for maximum open files limit in MaxDB database instance

Symptom

The following messages can be seen in the KnlMsg kernel protocol file of the MaxDB instance:

Thread     0x2F4C Task      -  2025-04-07 10:56:48 ERR IO         11834:  Can't open('/sapdb/data/ipc/us:SID/FIFO-2756.1' mode 0x2), 'Too many open files'
Thread     0x2F4C Task      -  2025-04-07 10:57:28 ERR IO         11834:  Can't open('/sapdb/data/ipc/us:SID/FIFO-3231.1' mode 0x2), 'Too many open files'
Thread     0x2F4C Task      -  2025-04-07 10:59:28 ERR IO         11834:  Can't open('/sapdb/data/ipc/us:SID/FIFO-6287.1' mode 0x2), 'Too many open files'
Thread     0x2F4C Task      -  2025-04-07 10:59:47 ERR IO         11834:  Can't open('/sapdb/data/ipc/us:SID/FIFO-6392.1' mode 0x2), 'Too many open files
