3593212 - Issues in Deleting Snapshots in Public Cloud for Cash Management

• While attempting to delete snapshots in the public cloud, the message "Execution is cancelled since regular deletion job is scheduled" is displayed.
• The option to delete redundant snapshot is not available in the public cloud app "Delete data from One Exposure from Operations".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open App "Delete data from one exposure from operations".
2. Select the radio button "Snapshot Cleanup".
3. In the selection parameters. Select "Number of days back to present = 14 days"
4. Select Display Logs.
5. Press Run button.
6. Observe the message "Execution is cancelled since regular deletion job is scheduled".

The fqm_delete is scheduled as a background job variant SAP®U_14 in the system. It is not required to manually execute the fqm_delete program for snapshot cleanup from App "Delete data from One Exposure from Operations"

1. In the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, the system automatically schedules a deletion job for snapshot cleanup.
2. Note that the deletion job runs daily using the system time zone (UTC in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud) with a start time of 00:00:00.
3. For the automated deletion job if it is required to change the snapshot cleanup parameter "Number of Days Back to Present"
   a.) Go to the configuration activity "Define Basic Settings(SSCUI ID 101025)".
   b.) Drop down to the section "One Exposure Obsoleted Flows Processing Mechanism".
   c.) Select "Obsoleted Flows Processing Option" change to "C Customer Defined".
   d.) Update the "Days for Recorded Snapshot" to the required days.
