Symptom

You get the error FAGL_POSTING004 (Acct &&&&&&&&&&/&&&& is tax-relevant; not permitted for clearing spec. to ldgr grps):

  • In ECC system, while activating Open Item Management Specific to Ledger Group using transaction FAGL_ACTIVATE_OP (report FAGL_SWITCH_TO_OPEN_ITEM).
  • In S/4HANA system, while activating Ledger group specific clearing using the report FINS_SWITCH_XLGCLR.
