3594182 - Changing the Project Profile on a Project in app Project Control - Enterprise Projects

Symptom

A project was mistakenly created with the wrong Project Profile and the user wishes to change the Project Profile.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. A project is created with an incorrect Project Profile in Project Control - Enterprise Projects.
  2. The user wishes to change the Project Profile.

Cause

The standard behavior of the system does not allow the Project Profile to be edited once the project is created.

Resolution

  1. Set the project to Closed.
  2. Create a new project with the correct Project Profile.
