3594191 - VLS Error Code: Unable to assign "null" as an alternative host because the user cannot be selected at this time

When adding some instructors to VLS classes, an error happens:

"The meeting could not be updated on the VLS server. Please try again later or note the error code and contact your VLS administrator.
VLS Error Code: Bad Request Unable to assign "null" as an alternative host because the user cannot be selected at this time"

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Log into HCM > navigate to Learning Administration > Learning Activities > Classes >
2. Create a new class or search for the required one >
3. At the class's record > Agenda tab > for the required slot, click on 'Edit Time Slot' >
4. Enable the 'Virtual' toggle and select the VLS Server >
5. Search for the required instructor and add it to the slot >
6. Upon 'Save', the error happens.

The affected instructor doesn't has an Email Address configured at their record.

As mentioned at Configuring Instructors for VLS, it's a requirement that VLS instructors must have their first and last names, and an email address maintained.

Please add the required email addresses to the instructors' records, at Learning Administration > People > Instructors > search for the required instructor > open the record in the edit mode > Summary tab > Email Address field > click on 'Apply Changes'.
