3594266 - Error: E0075: Syntax error in IDoc (too many repetitions of a segment) when process sales order IDOC

Symptom

  • Customer is facing an issue related to the maximum partners in IDOC segment E1EDKA1 being limited to 99.
  • If E1EDKA1 segment carries more than 99 partners, the system will go to failed status as syntax error, which is per current SAP design.
  • When running an IDoc you receive an error "EDI: Syntax error in IDoc (too many repetitions of a segment )", message number E0075.
