Symptom
When initiating crossboarding via Recruiting, the "To Be Hired" field for the old/previous position of this internal candidate will automatically changes to "No" in Manage Positions.
- This change occurs regardless of the position management settings configured.
- The change date/time is exact the same date/time of crossboarding getting initiated and job information record being inserted into EC profile regardless of the candidate's start date .
Expectation: Old position should have the "To Be Hired" field staying as "Yes" and not change at all when crossboarding is initiated from Recruiting.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding
Reproducing the Issue
- Proxy as an internal user > go to career central > apply to another position
- Initiate onboarding for the internal candidate via Recruiting
- Go to Manage Positions > check the position that internal candidate was previously in
- "To Be Hired" flag will now be set to "No"
- Complete the internal hire process
- "To Be Hired" flag is still "No"
Cause
"Enable Additional Internal Hire Activities" switch is not enabled.
Resolution
- Go to Admin Center > Onboarding General Settings
- Under Process Settings, switch on "Enable Additional Internal Hire Activities" option
- Test a new candidate or observe behavior for future candidates
Note: It's NOT suggested to switch off "Enable Additional Internal Hire Activities" switch as in future release will have this switch automatically ON.
