3594441 - Circular Reference Issue in Process Manager

When exporting the process model in BPMN XML format, the customer encounters the following error message:

"Error: Circular references
Case: The models you are trying to export as BPMN 2.0 XML contain circular references"

1. Open Process Manager;
2. Choose a diagram;
3. Select the "Export BPMN 2.0 XML" option, and you will encounter the error.

A circular reference occurs due to the configuration of process elements forming an endless loop, wherein links direct back to previous points without forwarding progression, often due to misconfigured links or missing termination steps.

• Review each link in the problematic section of the diagram (where it should be indicated in the error message); 
• Modify or remove links that contribute to the loop, ensuring that the process flow has a termination point;
• Consider adding gateways that allow for decision points to properly manage and end the flow, preventing endless cycles.
