3594650 - Return Delivery Document Type Number (BTD_TCO) is set to 700 after S/4 HANA 2022

Symptom

  • After upgrading to a S/4HANA 2022 system (or newer) the Return Delivery Document Type Number (BTD_TCO) is set to 700 rather than 73, like in previous versions
  • This has several downstream effects as the BASE_BTD_TCO version in /SCMTMS/D_TORROT and /SCMTMS/D_TORITE is now 700 and not 73 for return deliveries
