Symptom
Since the 1H2024 release, the values of referenced custom fields are no longer sorted alphabetically by their IDs. The values are shown in a random order, which makes difficult to locate the one that's needed.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- Log into HCM > navigate to Learning Administration > System Administration > Configuration > Search Selectors >
- Search for Custom Field User and open it in the edit mode > set dropDownEnabled=false > Apply Changes >
- At People > Users > for a referenced custom field, click on the "square" button to open the User Custom Field Value Search wizard > make a blank search >
- Notice that the custom fields' values are no longer sorted by the ID's alphabetical order.
Resolution
Our Engineering team has investigated the scenario and the correction is planned to be delivered within the b2511 release version, as per the schedule available at Product Release & Road Map Information.
For VSaaS customers, this means that the fix is planned to be delivered as part of the b2605 release version, as per the schedule available at Learning Validated SaaS Release Schedule.
To check the possibility to have the fix delivered sooner, a patch request has already been raised internally. Please set this KBA as favorite in order to be notified on future updates to this document, as per 2171560.
