3595253 - Follow-Up Sales Quote Created via Workflow Rule does not Copy Products from Contract

A Workflow Rule was created for Contracts object with Action “Create Follow-Up Sales Quote”. The Workflow is executed, and a follow-up Sales Quote is created as expected.

However, the created Sales Quote does not contain any product data on the Products tab, even though the originating Contract includes products. While if a follow-up Sales Quote is created manually from the Contract (using the Sales Quote facet), the products are correctly transferred to the new Quote.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1.  Go to Contracts > search for and open the desired Contract.
2. Check Products tab has one or more products.
3. Perform the action(s) to trigger the Workflow rule.
4. Now go to Sales Quotes tab.
5. Open the last one created.
6. There is no products on items/products facet.

When a follow-up Sales Quote is created via Workflow Rule, the usual copy-logic of it is not processed. The Workflow logic is completely independent and is hard-coded copying some information but others don't, differently from the manual logic. 

This is the expected system behavior.
