Symptom

During the processing or transmission of eDocuments via the Application Interface Framework (AIF), the following error occurs: 

  • AIF global data not initialized properly, see FM EDOC_AIF_SET_GLOBAL_DATA

This prevents the eDocument interface from functioning correctly and typically interrupts the generation or sending process.
Note: This SAP KBA applies to eDocument scenarios for all countries.
