Symptom
When a future-dated hire is processed and an HRIS Sync job is run, the user is activated in the Employee Profile, but the profile header still displays the 'future' tag for a few hours after the update.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - HRIS Sync
Reproducing the Issue
- Hire a future-dated user.
- In the HRIS Sync job definition, enable the option "Use local time zone to set the effective start date of the status update.".
- The employee becomes active in EC & EP based on their local time zone.
- Despite the employee being active, the "future" tag still appears on the profile for about an hour.
- The "future" tag disappears after a short delay, and the profile reflects the employee's active status.
Cause

- The fix will be enhanced only for PPX and not for PP3.
