Symptom
The extension field that exists in the Sales Order is missing in both the Invoice and Outbound Delivery documents. When checking in personalization mode, the extension field is not available for selection in these documents.
Environment
SAP Business ByDesign
Reproducing the Issue

Navigate to Work Center: Sales Order

Search for Sales Order ABC
-
Click Edit
-
Go to General tab and locate extension field XYZ

Go to Document Flow and select reference Customer Invoice DEF

Observe that the extension field is not present in Customer Invoice DEF
Cause
The extension field XYZ exists in the system and is assigned to relevant business objects, but has not been properly extended to all required UI screens in the document flow.
Resolution
This is standard system behavior for extension fields that haven't been fully configured across all documents.
To resolve the issue:

Extend the extension "XYZ" field to the Customer Invoice Request screens manually, following the same process used for the Sales Order screen

If the field was already extended but remains invisible:

Delete the existing extension

Recreate the extension and apply it to all required screens in the document flow

This will ensure the field appears consistently across all related documents in the sales process.
