3596385 - Making Attachment Field Mandatory in Creating RFQs in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The Manage RFQs application allows RFQ creation without attachments, while the requirement is to make the attachment field mandatory and display an error message if it's empty. 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 

1. Navigate to the Manage RFQs application.
2. Attempt to create an RFQ without adding a document in the Attachment field.
3. RFQ created without error.

The standard system configuration does not mandate the attachment field while creating RFQs.

Its a missing Functionality in current environment.

In cloud environment the RFQ App is designed in such a way that attachment is not mandatory ,its up to the user whether user wants to upload or not.

But the alternative is user can  use a BADI  MM_PUR_S4_RFQ_MODIFY_ITEM and create a custom field that needs to be ticked by the user 
If the field is not ticked the system will raise an error .

However, there is still no way to ensure that the user actually adds the attachment. It can only serve as a reminder and prevent them from saving the document until they confirm the attachment has been added.
