3596526 - Explanation on Local and Global Rate Table Types for S/4 Hana 2020+

Symptom

  • In SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) embedded in S/4 HANA 2020 or higher, new checkbox 'Local Rate Table' and and a new rate table type "2000" is introduced 
  • Rate Table Type "1000" is set as a local type
  • Creating a new rate table of type 1000 gives an error on save: '&1 is a local rate table type.' (/SCMTMS/TC_RATES 85)
