3596542 - Error FH738 occurs when changing Field Status Group for G/L account - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

In app Manage G/L Account Master Data, Field Status Group cannot be changed due to error FH738 'Field "Balances in Local Crcy Only" contains an entry, although it is hidden'.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Manage GL Account Master Data App
2. Enter G/L Account and Company Code
3. Click Change
4. Change Field Status Group

Below steps can be taken to make change possible:

1. Edit the GL Account, change the GL Account Type from "Cash Account " to "Balance Sheet Account".
2. Go to Company Code Assignment.
3. Remove the Flag for "Balance in Local Currency Only".
4. Change back GL Account Type again.
5. Then it should be possible to set the new Field Status Group.
