3596545 - SAP HANA Tenant Copy With System Replication Shows Status UNKNOWN

Symptom

  • Statement 'CREATE DATABASE <Target DB SID> AS REPLICA OF <Source DB SID> AT '<IP>:<port>''  successfully executed 
  • But query "SELECT * FROM SYS_DATABASES.M_DATABASE_REPLICA_STATISTICS" shows status as UNKNOWN. 
  • Target Tenant DB indexserver trace shows error below

"Database connection to the source database error: SQLDBC connection failed with SQLDBC error -10709: Connection failed (RTE:[89006] System call 'connect' failed, rc=111:Connection refused"

"Error caught in SQLDBC disconnecting with SQLDBC error -10821: Session not connected"
