3596581 - Error "Parent Reg Product ABC and Parent Ref Product XYZ combination not exist" During Migration of Registered Products

During the migration of registered products in the simulation step, an error is encountered stating "Parent Reg Product ABC and Parent Ref Product XYZ combination not exist".

*where ABC refers to the Parent Register Product ID
*where XYZ refers to the Parent Reference Product ID

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the Business Configuration Work Center.
2. Go to the Overview View.
3. Search and open the activity Migration of Registered Products.
4. Select Migrate registered products using the migration tool.
5. Click on Upload.
6. Click on Data from Migration Template.
7. In the field File Name, click on Choose File.
8. Select the file and click on upload.
9. Select the respective Migration File uploaded.
10. Click on Execute Migration.
11. Click on Execute Migration Step by Step.

The error message below is received during the Simulation step.

"Parent Reg Product ABC and Parent Ref Product XYZ combination not exist"

The Parent Registered Product ID maintained in the migration file does not exist in the system.

Review the 'Parent Registered Product ID' column data maintained in the migration file and ensure that the 'Parent Registered Product ID' data corresponds to an existing Registered Product in the system.
