Symptom

  • Testing a remote source connection via CamelJdbcAdapter to Databricks fails.
  • "Validating" a connection to Databricks fails in SAP Datasphere.
  • Existing query/replication through the connection is still working.
  • Error in Data Provisioning Agent framework.trc file:
    "JdbcMetadataBrowser | ExceptionUtil.newAdapterException [] - Failed to query schemas. java.sql.SQLException: [Databricks][JDBCDriver](500004) Error getting schema information: Metadata Initialization Error."
    "Error message from Server: Configuration autocommit is not available"
    "Communication link failure. Failed to connect to server. Reason: HTTP Response code: 403"
