Symptom

  • After 1H 2025 release, In Manage Document Template, the 'Template Content' box is enhanced to Rich Text Editor(RTE). How to upload image to the template?
  • No option to browse and upload image in document generation after 1H 2025 release.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Document Generation

Resolution

To upload image to the template

  1. Drag and drop the image to the 'Template Content' box (Or Copy and Paste the image)
  2. The image can then be re-sized after it is pasted.

Linking an image to the template

  1. Click on the 3 dots near the 'Template content' box.
  2. Select Insert/Edit Image
  3. Add the image URL
  4. Set description and the dimensions
  5. click ok
