3597038 - Error FINS_ML_ACDOCA_UTIL008 "Pre-compacted inventory data inconsistent for material &1" during GI/GR

When posting Goods Receipt or Goods Issue, the error FINS_ML_ACDOCA_UTIL008 "Pre-compacted inventory data inconsistent for material &1" is raised.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

During the data refresh process, inconsistencies occurred due to the difference in selection times for the tables MATDOC and ACDOCA. The delta data created between these times caused discrepancies. As a result, some materials in the test system become inconsistent and unusable.

This is one-off situation, which mainly occurs if customer avoid SAP recommendation and schedule TDR during heavy business hours, or wrong error handling by SAP support. 

To resolve the issue, SAP suggest scheduling another TDR adhering to SAP recommendations.

Future Considerations to mitigate this issue:

• Schedule TDR Outside Business Hours: Customers should follow SAP's recommendation to schedule the Test Data Refresh (TDR) outside of business hours to reduce the risk of data inconsistencies (refer to point 13 in the linked guide):
