In performance form, long step description callout window does not point to the correct step.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

1. Go to performance form
2. Click on the route map information icon next to the step name on form.
3. Notice that for some step with long step descriptions, the step description callout window does not point to the correct step.

This is a Known Issue.

The issue occurs when below conditions are met:

• "Enable user experience enhancements to Performance Management forms" option is enabled in Performance management Feature Settings; And
• The step description opened exceeds 300 characters.

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2H 2025 release (b2511).

Workaround

• Disable the option "Enable user experience enhancements to Performance Management forms" in Performance management Feature Settings; 
• Or, avoiding configuring long step description (less than 300 characters).
