3597650 - Customer added attachment cannot be displayed in My Inbox

Symptom

  • Custom logic has been implemented to add an attachment (eg. Excel '.xls') to the work item.
  • The attachment functionality works correctly when the workflow is accessed using the SAP GUI via transaction code SBWP.
  • However, when the same workflow item is accessed through the My Inbox Fiori tile, the attachment is present but the file is corrupted, showing file size 0 byte and results in an empty file with no content.
