3597695 - Migration from Oracle to HANA: CHAR Field Displays Empty String Instead of Space

Symptom

In this scenario:

Post migration from Oracle to HANA, see a difference in a CHAR field between a Oracle and HANA table(s).

The HANA table's CHAR field of length 1, differs from what was seen on Oracle.

HANA post migration table field now contains an empty string '' (false), when Oracle had contained a space ' ' (false) for false field values.
