Symptom

Post migration from Oracle to HANA you encounter a difference between Oracle and HANA.

The HANA table's CHAR field of length 1, differs from what was seen on Oracle.

In this scenario:

HANA contained post migration ‘X` (true) or an empty string `` (false) whereas Oracle would contain a space ` ` (false).
