3597743 - Able to edit custom text field despite only giving read permission when latest form experience is enabled - 1H 2025

In the 2505 release, with the latest form experience enabled, users can edit the custom text field configure on form despite only giving read permission.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

1. Configure a custom field with type "text", and only give users read permission.
2. When latest form experience is enabled, user can edit the custom text field.
3. When latest form experience is disabled, user can not edit the custom text field.

This is a Known issue.
This issue occurs when the Latest experience of Performance Management forms is enabled in Performance Management Feature settings.

Workaround

Disable Latest Experience of Performance Management Form.
