3597758 - SUM Error in Phase - Preprocessing for HDB_CHK_COMPONENTS_DMO

Symptom

  • Import of the HANA_UMML failed with Error: import of the delivery unit failed: The delivery unit HANA_UMML with version 1.12.8 is not installed on the database!
  • During S/4 HANA Upgrade or conversion: Preprocessing - SUM-Phase: MAIN_MIGSERIALSETUP_SOT/SUB_MIG_SERIALSETUP/SUBMOD_MIG_CHKTARGETDB/HDB_CHK_COMPONENTS_DMO
  • Error: The following SAP HANA System components are missing on the database: The delivery unit HANA_UMML with version 1.12.8 is not installed on the database! Please check SAP note 2928582.
  • During S/4 HANA Upgrade or conversion: in transaction SM21 following error is visible: 
               --> Database error 258 at EXE  (according timestamp occurred during the phase MAIN_NEWBAS/XPRAS_AIMMRG)
