3597767 - SUM Error: An invalid XML character (Unicode: 0x3) was found.

During the Software Update Manager (SUM) process, an error occurs while converting the UPGANA.XML to UPGANA.HTML in phase MAIN_POSTCLEAN/SUBMOD_EVALUATE/CREATE_UPGEVAL as below:

The error message states: 'An invalid XML character (Unicode: 0x3) was found in the value of attribute "directory" and element is "space"'.

After checking the UPGANA.XML content with the line which is pointed by lineNumber in above log, there is a directory with special character.
