  • Table is datarow locking
  • Table has a unique non-clustered index
  • Index is created with ignore_dup_key
  • Insert trigger on table
  • Multiple rows inserted which fires trigger with duplicate rows

Duplicate key was ignored.

  • The result of the table shows that all rows were inserted although "Duplicate key was ignored"
