3598085 - Error "Posting date must not be before that of preceding document" while Posting Credit memo

Unable to post credit memo due to error "Posting date must not be before that of preceding document".

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Supplier Invoicing work center.
2. Go to the Invoices and Credit Memos view
3. Search for relevant invoice
4. Click Edit
5. Choose View all
6. Click on Check
7. The error "Posting date must not be before that of preceding document" is displayed

The issue occurs because the posting date of the credit memo is earlier than the posting date of its linked preceding document. 

First, identify the preceding document related to the credit memo and verify its posting date. Compare it with the posting date of the credit memo. If the credit memo’s posting date is earlier, update it to be the same as or later than the posting date of the preceding document.
