Symptom

  • Is Identity Provider (IdP) initiated SSO and Service Provider (SP) initiated SSO supported for Open ID Connect (OIDC) applications and/or corporate identity providers in SAP Cloud Identity Services (SCI)?

  • IdP-initiated SSO is the process where the authentication request is initiated on the IdP and then the user will choose the SP to access.
    • User initiates authentication : Corporate-IdP ---> SCI proxy ---> SP

  • SP-initiated SSO is the process where the authentication request is initiated by the SP.
    • User initiates authentication : SP ---> SCI proxy ---> Corporate-IdP ---> SCI proxy ---> SP
