3598145 - Result for fields containing special character is not getting displayed in Web Intelligence Document.

Symptom

  • Values are not displayed at Web Intelligence report level for fields containing special character 'ü'. [eg: üniverse]
  • Issue is reproducible in Information Design Tool, while executing Web Intelligence SQL at IDT Connection level below error message is observed.
    • Conversion from UTF8 to UCS2 failed: Generic application exception
