What's the new Reimagined Candidate Experience: The Reimagined Candidate Experience introduces a seamless, efficient, and user-friendly application process designed to enhance engagement for both internal and external candidates. The experience is built on three core components: Guided Application ExperienceMy Applications, and My Profile, each offering features that work together to optimize the candidate journey. For more details on these new components, refer to the following pages:

Prerequisites:

  • In Provisioning:
Under Company Settings -> Select Recruiting Marketing, then save. Select the following from Recruiting Marketing:
    • Enable Job Marketing
    • Enable Career Site Builder
    • Enable Candidate Account Simplification

      • Career Site Builder
        • Verify that the Sign-In Widget and Locale Selector options are enabled on your career site:
          1. In Career Site Builder, go to Appearance > Styles > Headers > <Locale> <Brand>
          2. For both Desktop Layout and Mobile Layout, ensure that the Sign-In and Language component is added and that the Use Sign In Widget and Use Locale Selector settings are enabled in both layouts
      • Candidate Account Simplification
      • Mobile Apply
      • DPCS 2.0
  • Admin Center:
    • Enable Enable Candidate Experience for Career Site from Admin Center > Manage Recruiting Settings > Career Site
      • Note: The changes may take a few minutes to reflect

Important Notes:

  • If you're an existing customer, there are no configurations required. All your existing setup and configurations are integrated within the reimagined Candidate Experience, when you've enabled in your instance. If you're a new customer, you need to set up successfully complete all prerequisites and also configure the following templates - Job Requisition, Candidate Profile, Job Application, and Offer, as per your business requirement.
  • The following features help to optimize the overall candidate experience:

Behaviour Notes:

  • Only the first two Background Elements are going to appear in the Wizard Steps. Other Background Elements will appear under the Additional Information section. For more details, refer to the KBA: 3606713 - Missing Background Elements in New Candidate Experience for Career Site.
  • When there are no background elements, the candidate will see an additional 'Add' button in the middle next to the illustrated message. But when an entry is present the button at the top right corner is the only one which would enable the candidate to add new ones."
  • It's not possible add/remove or modify Wizard Steps. Also, it's not possible to select each Wizard Step that the fields will appear.
  • Pre-Screening Questions will appear under Additional Information step. For more details, refer to the KBA: 3624646 - Which step will pre-screening questions display in Reimagined Candidate Experience? - Recruiting Management
  • In Candidate Experience (CX), Resume field labels for different locales will not be fetching from any template and is extracted from messages translation for the candidate selected locale. In the message resources file, based on region/country, the translations will be displayed.
  • Candidates can upload a resume to use Resume Parsing, which pre-fills the application, or they can manually enter their details. Resume parsing is not perfect and may not accurately extract all information. On the RMK career site with Mobile Apply, parsing differs when Candidate Experience (CX) is not used; it only populates fields if they are empty and does not override existing data. Hence, although the same parsing tool is used on both CX and non-CX sites, parsing behaviors should not be directly compared. For more details, refer to the KBA: 2081576 - Using the SuccessFactors Recruiting Resume Parsing Feature [User Assistance Documentation Link]
  • Universal Push for all customers: No defined date.
  • Support for On Change and On Save Business rules in the New Candidate Experience is extended to include Text Area, Hyperlink, and Instructions data types in 2H 2025. These data types apply only to the Job Application business rules configuration and are specifically available only in the Reimagined Candidate Experience. • Applying for jobs using LinkedIn
  • Saved Jobs
  • Employee referral for Internal Candidate Search
  • Quick Apply is implemented with same existing UI and application process, maintaining continuity for candidates
  • Raise Message type rules are not currently supported as part of the reimagined candidate experience but Product Management have created an enhancement request and it may be delivered in a future release (Reference RCM-153562).
