Quality stock considered in available quantity of MD04.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Cause
The following stocks are grouped together to form plant stock:
- Unrestricted-use stock
- Stock in quality inspection
- Unrestricted-use consignment stock
- Consignment warehouse stock in quality inspection
It is default behavior of the app "MD04"
Resolution
Since inspection stock cannot be excluded from available quantity directly, a recommended approach is to define a separate MRP area for a specific storage location and move the inspection stock there. By assigning an appropriate MRP type (ND) to this MRP area, the stock can be excluded from MRP planning.
